Vision Campaign
In the spring of 2023, the executive team at Fairhaven Church shared a rough draft of a new vision and values for our organization. They entrusted me to lead the efforts to refine their ideas and expand them into a cohesive, engaging vision plan we could rally around as an organization.
I collaborated closely with the executive team to understand their intent and direction. From there, I led my team in crafting clear, compelling language for the purpose statement and six core values.
We integrated these new concepts with our established branding and developed simple artwork to represent each value. That fall, we presented our work to our staff, and it was well received.
Building on this momentum, we prepared additional visuals and materials to share the initiative with hundreds of key stakeholders in February 2024. Their positive reception reinforced our direction and propelled us toward our planned organization-wide launch that fall.
For the all-church rollout in fall 2024, we developed a comprehensive communication plan. We expanded our messaging through booklets, detailed artwork, apparel, and other materials, transforming abstract ideas into tangible expressions of our vision.
The response was overwhelmingly positive and inspired thousands of our organization’s members to commit to embracing and living out the vision in their daily lives.
This initiative not only clarified our organizational identity, but it also unified our community around a shared purpose, fostering deeper engagement and alignment across all levels of participation.
