One week in!

Hey there! Thanks for stopping by. This is the second of what will be dozens of entries that I'll write for you on this website so you can keep up to speed with my life and ministry over here at Keynote!

I've been in Indiana for a week now, and it is great to be here! At some point this summer or fall, I probably told you about a few of the things that Keynote has done and is doing. All of those stories, of course, were first told to me by someone at Keynote who's been here longer than me. So, as you can imagine, it's really quite thrilling to be here and be a part of Keynote first-hand. I'm starting to really feel like I'm "here" now - and looking forward to digging in as soon as I can!

My first week was, well, pretty random. My official start date for training was November 1, so, being here a few days early, I was put to work helping with preparations for Keynote's Vision Dinner by setting up tables and chairs, folding papers, cutting ribbons, etc.

Training itself started on Thursday and has been great so far. The cool part about training at Keynote is that the things we're learning about aren't just applicable to Keynote - they're applicable to life in general. We're learning about things like ministry philosophy, and working on things like our communication skills.

The Keynote Vision Dinner was Saturday, and it was a time for people who support (or are considering supporting) Keynote's ministry to come and see what's happened in the last year, and what's happening in the upcoming year! It was a really cool event for me to be a part of, just to gain some perspective on how big Keynote's vision and mission actually are, and how much God is actually doing through it all. Pretty amazing.

This week, I'm going to be moving into my new home, a one-bedroom apartment in Carmel, Indiana. So I'll be back soon to share about my new "digs" with you! Thanks for reading, and have a great day!
