Fuel for the fire
While we can't really do much about the soaring gas prices right now, Keynote is providing fuel for ministries in quite a different way...
Announcing the launch of the new KeynoteFuel.com! Whoo hoo!
Yes, it's true. If you've been reading my blog or my newsletters over the past few months, you probably know that I've been working on this project for quite some time now. Well, I'm thrilled to be able to tell you that it's finally up and running!
KeynoteFuel.com is the place where we can send people who are interested in hosting a Keynote band, as well as those who have already signed up to host a concert. On the website, they can sample our artists' work, find out who to contact to book a band, and now, download posters and other promotional materials they'll need! It's going to be a very helpful tool in communicating with our concert hosts!
Why "fuel," you ask? Well, we like to think that as we come alongside already existing ministries and perform concerts and shows helping them reach their target audiences, we are - in a sense - "fueling" their ministry, helping them connect with and minister to more people. Adding more fuel to the fire, so to speak. KeynoteFuel was created with this metaphor in mind.
Just so you have an idea of the kind of project this was, take a look at the before and after pictures below...

I'm responsible for the design of the site and its functionality, (all done in Flash). The "sunburst" in the background is something Kristin, our graphic designer, has used in Keynote materials before, so I incorporated it for consistency. The copy (text) for the site was written by Heather, our writer. The contents of the FuelStation have all been created by people on our Keynote media team.
If you've got a minute, check out the site for yourself and get an idea of what our artists are like. And feel free to let me know what you think of it all! I'd love to get feedback from you. (It's live at www.keynotefuel.com, in case you missed that!)
ALSO ... if you remember my entry about going to help film a performance by the Boyd Family Band back in February, you can go to KeynoteFuel to see the video that was put together as a result of that project! Just click on the Boyd Family Band and view their promotional video. (Read that original entry here.)
That's all for this edition. See you later! |
